The BDASA Story...
Our History
In 2020, at the onset of COVID-19, the urgent need for businesses to connect was recognised. A LinkedIn group was started and quickly grew to over 500 members, highlighting the demand for community among BD practitioners and others who appreciate the value of BD.
Since the inception of BDASA, many people expressed the need for a formal professional body.
We are now relaunching BDASA with initial sponsorship from ExcoCapital.com, responding to calls from young BD practitioners seeking career progression or aiming to create more value for their organisations, and the desire to recognise BD professionals for their contributions.
BDASA also supports founders and CEOs who lack in-house support, bringing them into a community and knowledge pool that can help them succeed in their business ventures, “Business Development in Action”.
